CDNB

The 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine Audi CDNB 2.0 TFSI was produced from 2008 to 2014 and was installed as a power unit on such mass models as the A4, A5, A6, and Q5. There was a similar motor with a CAEA index under the stringent American ULEV environmental standards.

The EA888 gen2 series includes CDAA, CDAB, CDHA, CDHB, CCZA, CCZB, CCZC, CCZD, CDNB, CDNC, CAEA, CAEB.

CDNC

The 2.0-liter Audi CDNC 2.0 TFSI engine was assembled by the German concern from 2008 to 2013 and was installed on the company’s most popular models: A4, A5, and Q5. After the modernization, the power of the unit increased to 225 hp and it received a new CNCD index.

In 2008, the EA888 gen2 turbo engines debuted, and in particular the 2.0-liter CDNC unit. By design, there is an in-line 4-cylinder cast-iron block with a closed cooling jacket, direct fuel injection, an aluminum 16-valve cylinder head equipped with hydraulic lifters, a three-chain timing drive, a dephase on the intake shaft and an IHI RHF5 turbine with an intercooler. Of the features of this motor, we note the presence of a variable displacement oil pump, an intake manifold with geometry change dampers, a pair of balancers with its own drive, as well as a system for changing the height of the lift of the exhaust valves Audi Valvelift System or AVS.

CAEA

The company assembled the 2.0-liter turbo engine Audi CAEA or A5 2.0 TFSI from 2008 to 2014 and put on American modifications of such well-known models as the A4, A5, and the Q5 crossover. The motor met the environmental standards of ULEV 2, and its European version under Euro 5 was called CDNB.

CAEB

The Audi CAEB or A4 2.0 TFSI 2.0-liter turbo engine was assembled from 2008 to 2013 and installed on the American versions of a number of popular models, such as the A4, A5, A6, and Q5. The motor was adapted to ULEV 2 environmental standards and served as an analog of the European CDNC unit.
