The 1.8-liter Toyota 2ZR-FE engine has been produced since 2006 in factories in China and the United States for front-wheel drive models such as Corolla or Auris, as well as Lotus sports cars. This engine in all versions is equipped with a variable valve timing system Dual VVT-i.
The ZR family includes engines: 1ZR-FE, 1ZR-FAE, 2ZR-FE, 2ZR-FAE, 2ZR-FXE, 3ZR-FE, 3ZR-FAE.
